Hello! This is my 11th year in art education. In college I worked at Oil and Cotton and began working in leather design. During my 7 years teaching high school art in Deep Ellum, I pursued education in ceramic arts. In 2020 I co-founded artist co-op “Trade Oak Cliff” where I make my work and teach weekly classes. Trade recently won “Best Place to Take Art Classes” by D Magazine. In addition to teaching at my studio, I have partnered with the Dallas Public Library, Nasher Sculpture Center, and various other Dallas institutions to provide free public art experiences to the community. Please reach out with any questions or inquiries you have by emailing me at corriepocta@gmail.com
